When Georg Plange I. founded Plange Mühle in 1775, sustainability was the epitome of the pursuit of values. These values have essentially remained the same: responsibility for people and nature. Then and now, we are a family-run business, part of a group of companies, but with an unchanged understanding of values and a clear commitment to sustainable thinking and action. Two examples: our flowering meadow environmental project speaks volumes. Together with our farmers, we have created over 200 hectares of flowering meadows to literally roll out the green carpet for biodiversity. And our commitment to reducing CO2 emissions in wheat cultivation through fertilisers made from renewable energy is best-practice agriculture. All this for safe, high-quality food and for the satisfaction of our customers.
